THE COOKOUT
The Allenspark Livery hosted the cookout after the Horseback ride. David Carter did the grilling of the best "Bison" (not buffalo) Steaks ever eaten on this planet. I am sure of this! There were baked potatoes, cornbread, an Allenspark Alumni cake, and beans. A "real Western" cookout. We had some live music by Brad Bishop (famous Allenspark Alumni member) and someone else was pickin' with him but since I had had my share of "Blizkey" (Bliz Sheppard's corn squeezin's) I couldn't see who it was. Leonard Ewy supplied plenty of beer. Many thanks to Leonard for the beer, Bliz for the Blizkey, David for the steaks & the Cheffin' and Leslie and Stuart for the wine. Dale Fry tried to teach Leonard how to rope which proves the theory that you can't teach.....OH WELL! If anyone one can add to this please send me some copy so I can add it.

Here's some photos. Please click to enlarge them!

I need more pictures for this page.

The Bison steaks up against those fatty old Beef steaks. Even the beef was good.
